Final Project Poster

For this project, we had to create an original design for a travel poster that could be translated into a web banner. So I was sitting on my couch thinking a vacation would be fun but too tiring and that's how I thought of this concept of surfing the web instead of going on a real trip.

Symbols Illustration

For this project, we had to make our own custom symbols and incorporate them into a simple illustration. The symbols I made were the bubbles for the coffee, the avocado slices, and the tomato slices.

Gradient Mesh

For this assignment, we had to learn and use the gradient mesh tool to create a realistic illusion of a fruit or vegetable.

Children's Book Illustration

This project required us to use the skills we had learned up to this point in the class including the shape and pen tools as well as gradients, brushes, and effects to create an original illustration for a children's book cover.

Greeting Card

This was our first project using illustrator. We briefly went over basics and created a greeting card using what we know.
