Final Clean Digital Version
Overview
Have you ever filled out a form and thought, "Wow, that was fun!" Probably not. Will you feel that way when you fill out my finished design?? ... maybe also probably not. But I definitely tried my best!

Research &Brainstorming
For my research, I tried my best to find forms I thought were pleasing and that would kind of fit the style of a cake company. I also found an article on forms that I thought was helpful: https://www.w3computing.com/systemsanalysis/good-form-design/
Then I started brainstorming for the Company name and what I was going to put on the form that wasn't already predetermined.

Sketches & Doodles
Here are some logo designs I was considering. For the sketches of the form itself, what started as a sketch ended up being my first thumbnail.

3 Thumbnails
For the three thumbnails, I tried to make them as different as possible. I realize one and three are actually more similar than I thought. So I kind of was leaning toward the idea of two and three.

2 Tight Intermediates
I tried something new with my second thumbnail and had a tint in the background where I felt like it made easier on the eyes but I soon read the instructions closer and figured out I couldn't go straight to the edge and have a bleed. That changes the margins. And that actually applies to both of them but doesn't affect the second one as much. Also, I was just liking the idea of the second one better anyway.

1 Final
Here for my final thumbnail I cleaned it up quite a bit and got some great feedback from class. There were some technical things I missed. Once again, a little thorough reading on the assignment instructions could have fixed that issue. But I'm feeling pretty good at this point. I'm aware that it could have some more things to iron out in the digital phase but I felt like this was the furthest I could go with the hand work.

Computer Progressions
For the progressions, I played around with different treatments of the bottom portion and then last minute made a bit more reconstructive changes such as changes to the margins, box treatments, and tints on the illustration portion. Feedback in class is so helpful. There are so many things I didn't catch. I will always strive to get an extra set of eyes on my work in future projects outside of school.
